Sample Youth Camp Logo

I have to say that this is my favorite of the logos that I created for the Nazarene youth camp. I love the retro mascot look and I really wanted to tie it into the logo somehow. I was told that the theme is surrendered, which lead to the mascot waving the white flag. I also was told that an original theme idea was "baggage", so that is why I included the suitcases and bags. I thought that it told a story of the mascot leaving behind his baggage and waving his flag in surrender. I thought it could appeal to a younger crowd but it would also be a sort of vintage look.

When creating this particular sample logo, I was thinking of the pine trees that I know are on the camp ground where this youth camp is held. I also wanted to create something that felt like it could be worn by and appeal to many. It is simple, but still brings forth the feel of camping and also includes information about the theme of the camp.

This is a more stripped down and clean look that I went for when looking for the right logo/shirt design for the church youth camp in our state. I modeled this one after a Parks Project shirt I saw once. I thought it looked sort of modern but rugged, and I thought it fit a camp look.
